While we having been exploring our own semi-crunchy journey for a little over four years now, we know that many people in our family still think we are a bit on the hippie wagon. Yet and still, I’m always looking for ways to get our family and friends on a more natural journey of their own.  One of the ways I love to do this is by introducing them to essential oils.  They are so versatile and amazing that it’s no wonder that people typically fall in love with them after just a few uses.
Truth be told, when was pregnant with my second daughter, my skin went haywire – I was a dried, red, itchy, flaky mess. ON my face.  It was horrible. Fortunately, I concocted an amazing blend of oils that literally transformed my dull complexion into glowing. I still use it every single day {and my mom swears by it too}. Regarding sore joints, my husband is a runner, and I have used various concoctions of lavender, lemon, and peppermint for his feet, especially when he was trail running long distances. We would put the oils in an espsom salt foot bath and he would find relief. As a rub, I like adding clove and helichrysum to a mix of lavender and/or peppermint. (Sorry I don’t have any specific recipes off-hand but found or altered many of mine from “The Complete Book of Essential Oils and Aromatherapy” book by Valerie Ann Worwood.) I hope this information helps and doesn’t further confuse.
Put your cocoa and shea butter in a double burner. Put on low heat and let the fats melt. Take off of heat and pour your oils into a glass bowl. Let slightly cool and add your vitamin E, olive and essential oils. Put in refrigerator for about an hour or until the solution starts to solidify. Then remove from fridge and whip your solution with an immersion blender until it forms a whipped cream texture. Scoop into your glass pot. Close with lid and store in a dark, cool place. Apply to belly and breasts daily.

The first one I ordered was scratched on the front. Amazon credited my account,I returned it and I re-ordered it again. I just got the second one last night. I have yet to use and wear it. It appears from a functional stand point that it will work just fine. However, I don't know if it will discolor over time. I will try to post a new review after a few uses. The picture of this item is very deceiving. It is much smaller in size that what the picture leads you to believe. If your looking for a small and more petite face this is good for you. If your wanting something with a large face I would suggest looking at other bracelets.
